Phone calls

Our office has a large volume of phone calls but we make every effort to return phone calls during the same business day.  If a call is of an emergent nature, please let our staff know and your call will be placed through to the physician.  Phone calls are generally returned at the end of the day after the physician has examined all his/her patients.  Therefore, please leave a work number and a home phone number so that the physician may reach you during the day or in the evening.  If a prescription may be required, please also leave a pharmacy phone number. During the week, each physician/nurse practitioner team will return his/her own phone calls. For weekends, the physician on call will handle all the phone calls for the office.

Our staff answers the phone between 9am and 4:30pm Monday through Friday except during lunch from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.  During non-business hours, you will be connected to the voice mail system.  Please listen to the options in order to leave a message for your physician. The system has a prompt for both urgent and nonurgent phone calls.  If your message is left in your physician's urgent mailbox, the physician will be paged immediately and will return your call promptly.
