West Loop University Medicine, LTD. is a single specialty medical group consisting of four internal medicine physicians plus two nurse practitioners. Also practicing at the same location is Rush University Internists-West Loop, consisting of Dr. Jeffery Nekomoto and Dr. Michele Bailey. The group has over 60 years of experience. As general internists, each physician specializes in treating the whole patient beginning at the age of 15. While some members of the group may have particular interest in certain areas of medicine, they are all superbly trained to deal with all aspects of internal medicine, ranging from simple colds to diabetes and heart disease.

The group's philosophy is one of preventive medicine with a large focus on the patient as an integral part in the decision-making process. It is important to involve the patient in his or her treatment so that there is full understanding of the patient’s health treatment goals. In this way, full compliance, as well as a better outcome, is achieved.

West Loop University Medicine is proud to be a part of one of the nation’s foremost medical institutions, Rush University Medical Center. Rush is a premier center dedicated to teaching, learning and research and is nationally known for its excellence in patient care.
